3rd Announcement of IAU Symposium 279
"Death of Massive Stars: Supernovae & Gamma-Ray Bursts"

We are happy to report that we have received nearly 200 abstracts.
This circular contains important notices on the following topics.
 - Scientific program,
 - Hotel booking.
 - Online payment (to complete your registration).
Please visit regularly and frequently the symposium web site for
updated information.


** Scientific program
The preliminary program has been decided. We have sent notifications
about the approved presentations to those who submitted the abstract.
If you have not received the notification, please contact to LOC
(contact_iau279@hp.phys.titech.ac.jp). We will post the program time
table shortly.


** Hotel booking open
The hotel booking request form is now available at the following webpage.
http://iau279.phys.titech.ac.jp/hotels.html

Note that the hotel booking request will be handled on a first come
first serve basis.


** On-line payment open
Online payment for the registration fee and banquet is now open at the
following page.
http://iau279.phys.titech.ac.jp/registration.html

The registration fee is 25,000 JPY, which includes welcome reception,
coffee/tea break, and proceedings. It does NOT include the banquet fee.
The banquet fee is 5,000 JPY for one person. The banquet will be held
on 21 April (Thu) at Hotel Nikko Senhimemonogatari.

We accept the payment only by a credit card. The payment deadline is
February 28, 2011. The registration is complete only after confirmation
of payment.
